When you take part in the Winter Reading Challenge, you help the community! When we all read a total of 12,000 books, these generous partners will donate to the Palatine Historical Society.

Who is the Palatine Historical Society?
The Palatine Historical Society collects, preserves, and creates displays of Palatine-related artifacts. They are committed to delving into the history of Palatine and the Palatine Township to share with the community. The Society is run by volunteers who present cemetery walks, programs at the Clayson House Museum, and history related events in our community including here at the Library.

Donation Drive
Sunday, December 15 – Friday, January 31
On behalf of the Palatine Historical Society, donate winter items to Partners for Our Community (POC). All clothing donations are accepted, but items requested are men’s winter coats, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, jeans, sweatpants, and sweatshirts.
Get a Prize for Completing the Program
Get a mug or a stuffed toy for completing the program! While supplies last. Prizes funded by the Friends of Palatine Library.
