Discover what you can create in The Workshop today! For Palatine cardholders only.
As we approach wedding season, consider using The Workshop to create professional-grade and personalized decorations, party favors, and gifts for your special day all for a low cost.
While our machines cannot be used for mass production, you can make various, useful decorative pieces for your wedding that otherwise would cost you a fortune.
Decorative Signage
Remember Sarah and Nate? When The Workshop opened in 2021, these two lovebirds used our new laser engraver to recreate a welcome sign for $4 that would have cost them $200 to order online.
Table Cards
When Library member Kara started planning her wedding, she knew that The Workshop would be her go-to spot for decor designs. She created these table cards for guest seating arrangements using the laser engraver.
Stickers, Invitations, and Save the Dates
Our very own Workshop staff member Selicia got married this past December and upcycled a wooden frame they found from Goodwill and cardstock to create a sign for their wedding photos.
The newlyweds also used the laser cutter and Cricut glitter to make a ‘Just Married’ sign.
Acrylic Signs, Photo Booth Backdrop, and Props
When Library member Maria volunteered to help her best friend, Kalyn make decorations for her summer wedding, she got creative using our Cricut machine and the online software Cricut Design Space.
Maria used the Cricut to design a custom acrylic sign and props for the reception’s photobooth.
Personalized Party Favors and Bridal Party Gifts
Give your guests or bridal party a sweet and unique memory of the day by using our laser engraver on small gifts made from glass, wood, or metal.
Maria also used HTV iron-on vinyl on the Cricut machine for personalized pajamas and drink koozies for the bachelorette party.
Make Something Sentimental
According to TheKnot.com, sentimental keepsakes are trending this year in weddings. Kara used the large format printer to print a huge crossword puzzle with clues related to the couple that guests filled out during the reception.
Maria used sticker paper and the Cricut to make mint to be stickers for guests.
