Library Board Has Five Open Seats for April 2021 Election
At the regular monthly meeting in September of 2020, Board President Andrea Vanderhoek announced there are five openings on the Board of Library Trustees for the April 2021 election. Four of these seats are a four-year term covering May 2021 through May 2025, and one seat is a two-year, unexpired term, from May 2021 through May 2023.
Information for candidates may be found on the Cook County Clerk’s website and on the Illinois State Board of Elections website.
Nomination papers were accepted Monday through Friday, December 14-18, and Monday, December 21, 2020, in the lobby of the Main Library between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No late submissions will be accepted.
