All library locations will be closed Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 for the Christmas Holiday.   

The Main Library is closed, Tuesday, December 31, starting at 5:00 p.m.. The Branches are closed all day Tuesday, December 31. 

All library locations are closed all day Wednesday, January 1, 2024.

Hear about the largest side of Chicago comprised of the racially and economically diverse backgrounds. Some of the neighborhoods discussed: Hyde Park, Back of the Yards, Bridgeport, Pullman, Beverly and Mount Greenwood. This is a virtual program via Zoom. Sign up begins two weeks prior to each date.
