Bias affects all of us in ways we often don’t realize. It can be devastating for everyone, particularly those in healthcare settings. Chris will help us to understand bias, how it develops, and provide strategies to reduce bias in the healthcare setting. This presentation satisfies the Illinois yearly Implicit Bias training requirement. 1.0 Ethics & Cultural Competence CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, professional counselors, and nursing home administrators. This event is open to any members of the public who would like to learn more on this topic, not solely healthcare professionals.
