Grab and Go!

Starting Monday, February 1, the Library will open again to the public with certain restrictions. 

When coming to the Library, we ask that your visit be brief – come in, browse the collection, grab what you need, and take your items home to enjoy. We thank you for making your visit brief so that others can do the same. 

Because of the Renovation, the Library looks different right now. Construction walls are installed on the first floor, which makes the space look smaller. Please adhere to construction signs and stay out of those areas. 

Youth and Teen materials are located on the first floor, and all adult and audio-visual collections are located on the second floor. Maps are available to help you locate collections.

Main Library

Hours Effective February 1 

Monday—Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 

Friday—Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

  • Limit of 75 people.   
  • Visitors must wear a mask and maintain 6-foot social distance. 
  • 1-hour computer use.   
  • Printer/Copier/Fax available. 
  • Virtual Programs only. 
  • Some equipment and Library of Things available for checkout. 
  • Study/meeting rooms not available. 
  • Open table seating not available. 

 

North Hoffman Library Branch

Mon/Wed/Fri: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

Sat: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

  • Pick up holds. 
  • 1-hour computer use.   
  • Printer/Copier available. 
  • Virtual Programs only. 

 

Rand Road Library Branch

Tues/Thurs: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Curbside Pickup by Appointment Only

Curbside Pickup Service available: 

Mon-Sat, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., and 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. for District cardholders BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Self Checkout

Come in and pick up your own holds from the Holds Pickup area located in the Main Library lobby, in the Meeting Room hallway. Items must be checked out before leaving. We encourage you to use the Self Checkout stations.
